We have recently submitted a detailed response to the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology’s (DSIT) consultation on the proposed Code of Practice for the cybersecurity of AI models and systems. Our feedback is focused on strengthening the Code’s core principles, ensuring robust safeguards for emerging AI technologies, and establishing clear guidelines for responsible AI development.
VE3 is committed to driving innovation while prioritizing AI safety and security. Our dedication to responsible AI development has positioned us as a leader in the field. In line with this mission, we recently contributed to DSIT’s consultation.
Our submission emphasizes the critical role of robust cybersecurity measures for protecting AI systems and advocates for clear guidelines for responsible AI development throughout the AI lifecycle. By prioritizing a risk-based approach and fostering collaboration between industry and government, the Code can effectively mitigate AI-related risks.
We also recommend continuous evaluation and updating of the Code to address evolving threats and technological advancements. Furthermore, we highlight the importance of international cooperation to establish global AI security standards. We are one of the earliest members of the Coalition for Secure AI (CoSAI) alongside Microsoft, Google, Nvidia, and IBM.
